Vacancy Announcement – Project Manager ECHO Education in Emergencies with Save the Children

Dear Education colleagues,
As you may know, the European Union decided to dedicate the Nobel Peace prize money to education in emergencies. Save the Children (SC) and the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) will be working together to deliver on a consortium project supporting Congolese children in DRC and Somali refugees in Ethiopia.

As a result Save the Children is looking to recruit a senior project manager to lead the ECHO consortium on behalf of SC (lead agency) and NRC. The candidate should possess strong proposal development and project management skills, a sound knowledge of donor compliance, and experience in consortium and complex project management and the use of project management tools. In addition they should be proactive, self-driven and have excellent organisational ability, as well as fluent written and spoken English and excellent communication skills, (French language skills would be an asset).

The position will be based in Brussels or London with frequent travel (up to 50%).
